A Community Transport Service with a Purpose
Belper Community Transport (BCT) was created to help people in the Belper and DE56 area who find it difficult to access regular transport.
Many local residents face barriers such as mobility challenges, lack of public transport, or no access to a car — and we believe no one should feel isolated and so volunteer led community transport in Belper was much needed.
How It All Began
BCT was set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC), built entirely on the dedication of local volunteers.
Our goal is simple — to connect people with their community, whether that means getting to medical appointments, visiting friends, attending local events, or just enjoying a trip out.
Volunteer Transport in Belper
Our volunteer drivers and administrators are at the heart of everything we do.
They give their time to make sure every journey is safe, reliable, and friendly.
Without them, Belper Community Transport simply wouldn’t exist — and we’re always looking for more people to join our team.
