Belper Community Transport offers affordable community transport for individuals who find it hard to use public transport or don’t have access to a car.

 

Membership and Pricing

Joining BCT is simple and affordable:

• £30 annual membership

• £8 per hour journey rate
  Your membership helps us cover running costs and keeps our community service sustainable.

 

How to Book a Journey

You can book your trip by filling out the form on our website or by calling 07982 376697.
We’ll match you with one of our friendly volunteer drivers, who will collect you and ensure a safe, comfortable journey.

 

Who Can Use This Service

Our service is open to anyone in the DE56 postcode area who:

• Struggles with mobility

• Doesn’t drive or own a car

• Has limited access to public transport

• Needs assistance getting to appointments, shops, or social activities

 

Travel with Confidence

All our drivers are trained, DBS-checked volunteers, and our vehicles are wheelchair accessible, well-maintained, and comfortable.

 

Self Driving

Our vehicles are available for self drive, training provided for loading and unloading wheelchairs. Driving license checks will be made during membership application.

Transport for Community Groups

Belper Community Transport supports local groups and non-profit organisations with affordable, flexible transport options.

 

Who Can Access This Service

We no longer have a minibus. For group outings we would advise members to book more than one car. The Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles can accommodate one wheelchair each and up to 4 seated passengers.
