Booking a Journey with Belper Community Transport

How to Book a Journey

Booking a journey with us will initially involve registering with us as a member on the Customer Membership page. The cost is £25 per year.

You will then be able to book your journey in one of three simple ways:

  1. Online:
    Complete our easy-to-use booking form on this page or via our Contact page.

  2. By Phone:
    Call 07982 376697 – Office hours are Mon – Thurs 10am – 4pm, if we can’t answer straight away, please leave a message, and one of our team will get back to you.

  3. By Email:
    Send your booking request to info@belpercommunitytransport.org.

Please try to give us at least 72 hours’ notice for your journey so we can arrange a driver and confirm your booking. More urgent journeys cannot be guaranteed but please call anyway, we will try to accommodate you if possible.

 

Who Can Book a Journey

Our services are open to:

  • Individual members who pay an annual £25 membership fee and £6 per hour for use of a vehicle

  • Community groups or non-profit organisations within the DE56 postcode area

If you’re not yet a member, you can easily join before booking a journey – visit our membership page to register.

 

What You Can Book

We can help with a wide range of journeys, including:

  • Medical and dental appointments

  • Shopping trips and errands

  • Visiting friends and family

  • Attending community activities or social groups

  • Group outings and local events

Our vehicles include wheelchair-accessible options and a fully electric Nissan Leaf for eco-friendly travel (please note, the Nissan Leaf has an 150 mile range before a recharge is needed.

 

Accessibility and Comfort

Some of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible.  We’ll always do our best to meet your accessibility needs — just let us know your requirements when booking.

 

Payment and Membership

To use Belper Community Transport, you’ll need to be a registered member.
Membership costs £25 per year, with a £6 per hour journey charge, and a 30p per mile charge over 50 miles.

Payments can be made:

  • By bank transfer (details provided upon request)
